To refer a patient:

To refer a patient for outpatient clinic follow up please email rch.burns@rch.org.au and Cc: screferrals@rch.org.au.
Please note the RCH Burns Service will only accept referrals for children aged 15 years or younger.

Referrals must include:

• Referrer details including name, designation, provider number and referring center
• Patient details including full name, date of birth and gender
• Parent/carer details including name, address and contact number
• Injury details including description, %TBSA & depth, if known mechanism and date of injury, details of any first aid, treatment to date and dressings

Please also include:

• GP details to assist with patient tracking and follow up
• Photos (with parent/carer permission)
